The method
Every failure mode in the collection goes through two frameworks, in this order — click to understand each one:
Framework A — Diagnosis
How the failure behaves over time: Nowlan & Heap pattern and Weibull β. It decides WHETHER age-based intervention makes sense.
→Framework B — Prescription
The applicable and effective task: CBM, TBM, Proof Test, RTF — or redesign (SAE JA1011 / Moubray).

Given the failure mode you do NOT want to happen, the selector applies the RCM decision diagram and returns the strategy — with the base plan and interval.
