Back pull-out construction (the rotating assembly comes out without disturbing the piping), open impeller with external clearance adjustment (light-solids and corrosive services), a wide materials chart (ductile, 316, CD4MCu, nickel alloys). Limitations: it is a B73.1 platform — for hot/high-pressure hydrocarbons the step up is an API 610 OH2 (e.g., Flowserve HPX); the open impeller gives up some efficiency versus closed designs.

Reliability

Pump manufacturers do not publish catalog MTBF — the hard data comes from the field.
